This Landscape Design for Foundation Walls will work wonders to hide your foundation wall for the front of your home, back of the house or the side of your home. It only uses two perennials, but adds interest for the entire year.

This landscape design will be easy to maintain. It works best in the sun as the burning bush will be more brilliant the more sun it gets. The globe blue spruce can withstand the harsh heat next to the sunny side of the house. In the spring the burning bush turns green. When fall arrives the burning bush turns a bright red offsetting the blue green of the globe blue spruce. Then in winter when the snow begins to fall and the burning bush is devoid of leaves, the globe blue spruce is happily showing off its evergreen needles.

Cover that Ugly Foundation Wall

The globe blue spruce evergreen does a wonderful job of covering the ugly foundation wall all year long. It is so easy to maintain because it is a slow grower. The burning bush can grow very large, so I recommend that you keep it trimmed to the height that works for you. The globe blue spruce stays below your windows so you have a terrific view of all the fun things going on in your yard all year long.

Globe Blue Spruce is a compact evergreen shrub that hides the foundation in this landscape design	You can plant four Globe Blue Spruce. The great short blue needles of the Globe Blue Spruce make this compact evergreen shrub a real eye pleaser. It is an evergreen shrub that you can plant under your window sills so you can keep that beautiful view out your window. It is a slow grower and adapts well to most soils.
The burning bush is a great end anchor for this landscape design for foundation walls.	Next, you should plant two Burning Bush. Plant at each end of this landscape design. The Burning Bush is also known as the Winged Euonymus. It is a member of the Euonymus family and it's name is Euonymus Alatus. You can plant these in the shade, but you will find the fall color is more attractive and brilliant if you plant in full sun.

This landscape design for foundation walls is spaced out at 16 feet by 4 feet. You can plant the 4 blue globe spruce 2 feet from the foundation wall. It grows to a maximum of 3 feet wide, so that will give you room behind in case you need to get to the foundation wall for any reason.

Plant the burning bushes at either end of this foundation wall landscape design. Plant 3 feet from the wall to give it room to grow over the years. You can trim it to keep it at a manageable size.
