Day 22 on Weight Loss Challenge

Losing weight by diet and exercise. The steps you take to lose weight. It's all about eating right, eating healthy and adding a tablespoon of exercise.

So did you exercise today? Did you get out and walk? Did you stretch and do some Yoga or Pilates? How about lifting weights? Any good weight loss program will work best when you add exercise to your dieting. Today it was raining when I had time to go for a walk. So I had to cancel my walk today. I am bummed. I did go home and lift weights for half an hour. Concentrating on my legs. The exercises I performed were squats, lunges, hack squat, leg lift and leg extensions. I knew that I had a good workout, because it was difficult to walk up the
stairs when I was finished.

I had a normal breakfast. Two servings of Instant Grits. A scrambled egg, a tablespoon of butter, 8 ounces of orange juice and a 6 ounce glass of milk.

Lunch was 2 slices of bread, mayo, bologna, Colby Jack cheese, and then a mix of cheeses and sausage, leftover from the Superbowl party. Dinner was one bowl of chili, oyster crackers, a glass of water and a few handfulls of M&M's. It would have been a good day if not for the candy.

Tomorrow is fat Tuesday and then for me the Roman Catholic lenten season begins.
