For breakfast I had 1 scrambled
egg, 2 servings of instant grits, a tablespoon of butter, 6 ounces of milk and
8 ounces of orange juice. The milk is 2% milk.
Since I didn't exercise, I chose to go out to Subway for lunch. I could have
done a lot better. I chose turkey and ham on 6 inch Italian bread. I added
provolone cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato and spinach leaves. The bad part was
the potato chips and CocaCola I had with the meal.
For supper we had leftovers. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, garlic bread
and a brownie. It was all washed down with a glass of water. The brownies are
all gone, so I am back on the good eating program.
The interesting thing that occurred to me today is when I went to the Subway.
Right next to the Subway store was a QuikDrop
store. The QuikDrop store allows you to take your family articles and sell them
on EBay. They act as a middleman for you.
QuikDrop will take photos of your items. Then they write an advertising script
to sell your family items. Then they manage the EBay selling process for you.
When it is all done they sell your article, ship it to the buyer and then send
you money less 20% to 38%, their cost of doing business.
This is a service that other companies are implementing in some fashion.
QuikDrop is a franchise opportunity that just came to the Chicago area this
last year. They are based out of Nevada. Looks like some companies are going to
make some money with this opportunity.
Sorry to go off on a tangent today. Just thought you might find it interesting.
Good luck on your eating and exercising today!
