One hawk was flying around
screeeching about something. Me perhaps?
I saw the deer tracks before actually seeing any deer. It was 2 hours before
dusk, and the deer tracks were all the way down to the path. The park has 2
creeks flowing through it. Ice was building on the creeks and many animals had
left their foot prints next to the creek.
I always stay on the trail. Today, it was difficult to walk anywhere. I went 3
miles in the same time it would normally take me to walk 4 miles. But it was
great fun despite the deep, heavy snow.
I ate something different today for breakfast. Instead of grits and eggs, I ate
2 servings of Product 19 including 8 ounces of milk, and 8 ounces of orange
juice. After church I drank some hot tea and ate a brownie.
Now the brownie was one of 3 I ate today. I never should have made them
yesterday. My wife, Mary, yelled at me for making the brownies.
At Christmas time, Mary received a turkey from her employer. So she spent all
day on Sunday cutting up the turkey so we could eat it throughout the week. For
lunch we ate a grilled cheese sandwich, 1 serving of potato chips and I drank
some water. Oh yeah, I also had a brownie.
Dinner was so delicious. Mary had prepared one of the turkey breasts, with
dressing, gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes. Now, if you are trying to
lose weight I wouldn't recommend this meal as one you should eat on a regular
basis.
But anytime you try to lose weight you are going to have meals like this on
occasion. How do you handle the times when this wonderful food is available to
you? I limited my meal to one serving. I drank water with the meal.
The rest of the week you need to concentrate on the good food you should eat.
So this week we will be good. Eat veggies not potato chips. Drink water instead
of pop. And oh yeah, let's
walk this week or start a good aerobics program or yoga program.
