Breakfast started with one egg
scrambled, 2 servings of Instant Grits with butter and 6 ounces of milk. We
were out of orange juice so I substituted water. Lunch was a peanut butter and
jelly sandwich, some potato chips and a candy bar. Supper was 3 small leftover
slices of pizza and water. I probably did okay for the day.
Shaping up to be an interesting week, with lots of stress and decisions to be
made. Could be exciting. I need to stay focused and committed to my goal of 8
pounds and I need to get back to weightlifting. It was great to see the
sunshine today, which in Mid January there never seems to be enough to go
I am confident you are doing better than I am, keep up the great diet fight and
continue to lose that quarter pound a day. It is like a little creek. You never
think you are losing any weight, but if you lose just a little a day, before
you know it, 4 weeks have passed and you have lost 10 pounds.
Stay positive and go work out, with small weights, cans from the pantry, a walk
with the dog or just walk in place while you watch tv. Today is the day to
