My eating for reduced weight
wasn't very good. For breakfast I had the buffet for 2 days. Wow, what great
food. Biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, french toast, syrup, bacon and a danish.
Luckily, we skipped lunch, though one day Mary and I ordered an appetizer. Then
the big banquet was excellent. We ate prime rib, baked potatoes, green beans
almondine, a delicious salad and a sweet cake and strawberry dessert.
I feel bad about not controlling my eating, but I rationalized I was with
family and friends and I will do better this week. See, we can always talk
ourselves into not doing as well as we should. Be strong. Be committed to your
goal. Drop a pound this week. Not 10 pounds, not 20 pounds only 1 pound.
This week for breakfast, choose a low calorie breakfast, but eat something, so
you aren't tempted by all the goodies brought in by your coworkers. Choose
vegetables for lunch and a small sandwich. Then eat reasonably for dinner.
Everyday this week. You will feel better about yourself. Your diet will be back
in line for a successful spring.
