Page views are up 200% compared to March.
You can see that the trend for visitors is decreasing toward the end of the month. That is
due to the seasonal nature of my web site and the interest in the articles on
landscaping and gardening.
Search engine traffic represents 83% of my traffic. I think that shows my
ability at SEO. The exciting thing about search engine traffic is once you have
optimized a page you don't have to keep doing it over and over. You watch your
numbers and you may need to tweak a page here and there. But, for the most part
you don't have to keep pumping the pump.
One of the problems I have with the Entrecard model is it requires you to keep
doing something everyday to drive traffic to your website. As you can see my
direct traffic has slowed to just 5% of my traffic. That is mainly because I
have stopped dropping large numbers of Entrecards each day. If you have the
time then that's great. But, for me with summer here, I need to be outdoors.
